UV lights are especially popular at kids parties but are also a vital edition at every Halloween event you go to.
The ultraviolet light shines off anything white, bright and fluorescent and as a result these items wash with unexpected brilliance, giving your room a fun and futuristic atmosphere.
The question we most often get asked is: How many UV lights are required?
Well, that all depends on the size of the area you want to light up.
Ideally you will require at least four long length LED black lights which can be placed along each wall of the room. This is more than enough to light up your typical double garage. For larger spaces like a function venue or a school hall you will need to add a few extra UV panels.
The larger the party space the more UV lights you will need to ensure that the black light rays reach all parts of the room.
They are super easy to install. They can be set up on a stand, placed on a table or positioned on the floor up against each wall of the room. Once connected to a power point they are ready to glow!
You can also add a number of additional neon decorations that glow under UV black lights. They can be hung from the ceiling or stuck up on the walls around the UV lights and will illuminate brightly and create and amazing visual experience for all.
You can let your imagination run wild with all sorts of bits and pieces including party banners with flowers, peace signs and even aliens from a far away universe. Its all about being as creative as you can preparing for your UV light party.
Think carefully about what you should wear to a glow in the dark party so you look amazing under those black lights. Go for clothing items that are white or fluorescent. The brighter the neon colour the greater the chance that the item will glow. Fluorescent green, pink, yellow and orange are your best best. Purple, red and blue tend to be hit and miss.
There are also some really funky neon accessories you can add to your outfit such as necklaces, ear rings, bracelets and even glow in the dark glasses that will make you pop up all over the place.
If you really want to get messy you can play around with glow in the dark pens and (body) paints as well if you fancy adding a bit of artistry to your UV party.

UV lights are also safe to use and wont damage your eyes if not used for any prolonged length of time but if you are concerned keep your sunglasses handy just in case.
